Kimme and I were both a little anxious about her trip to the public hospital yesterday for her dental x-rays. I’ve been to hospitals several times in the states and even with an appointment getting in and out can take up a good chunk of the day. And here, given our limited Spanish, if there were any snags, we weren’t sure we’d be able to understand what was happening.
Before we could go to the hospital we were told by Dr. Sinclair to purchase a CD so they could download the x-rays and be brought to him. A little surprising to me that neither he nor the hospital would provide this if it’s an integral part of the practice, but when in Rome…
From start to finish we were only at the new, very clean and modern hospital for 15 minutes. We walked in and showed the receptionist the note from Dr. Sinclair. She directed us to x-ray. They told us we needed to go back to the front and pay first. We did. Back to x-ray and we were done and on our way back home.
Today we’ll take the x-rays to Dr. Sinclair.
