Michael: Butterflies
Jekyll and Hyde days:
Smiles in the morning and sneers
In the afternoon.

One of the great things about living in the Panama highlands is that you often find small elements of beauty in unexpected places.
Today, for example, we went out for our usual Wednesday morning trail run on the farm road to Los Posos. It’s a challenging road that winds it way through some very bucolic scenery. But it wasn’t there that we found what struck as pleasantly delightful today. It was at the bus stop waiting to be picked up for the 15 minute ride back to Volcan.
There we saw an array of very distinct and beautiful butterflies. There fluttering about after we were finished running just put an extra special little shine on a very clear and comfortable morning.
